CRITERIA FOR VIDEO SUBMISSION
1.) Video submissions can be made at any time.
2.) Applicant must be in full view standing behind a drum. If applicant's head or feet is out of
view then applicant will be disqualified.
3.) Video must be in focus. If it is not in focus applicant will have to resubmit.
4.) Applicant must play all requirements in one video taping. If it is determined that applicant
taped requirements in more than one taping session applicant will be disqualified. Each
requirement may be separated by no more than 1 minute.
5.) Judges will judge the video on one viewing.
6.) Applicant must play the requirements as stipulated under Rules and Requirements.
7.) Sound must be crisp so judges can distinquish individual strokes. If the sound is not
clear, snares are too raspy or room reverberates applicant will be disqualified. Sound
must be at a reasonable volume level.
8.) A copy of the applicant's etude must be mailed before or by the video submission.
9.) Tape should be labelled with applicant's name and date.
10.) Video tapes will not be returned unless applicant sends an additional $3 for return
postage and handling along with a return address.
